Big day yesterday at our house...Grant's first tooth is out! Last night after dinner he was wiggling and wiggling it and it was super loose hanging out; however, it wasn't as loose inwardly. I told him that he might have to wait and he looked right at me and stated, "Mom, I'm not going to bed until it's out for good"! SO... after 20 minutes I took matters into my own hands-literally-and out it came! Then we called Nana and Grandma and borrowed Jenna's tooth pillow so the tooth fairy would know where to find it. I asked Grant how much cash he'd get for his first tooth, and he responded with, "$6 mom, because I'm 6"! Jenna is getting to the age that she is questioning EVERYTHING and so she now knows about Santa & the tooth fairy. In a few weeks, she'll ask about the Easter Bunny. My kids are growing up so fast!
I wanted to show everyone pictures from Jenna's 9th birthday party last weekend. She had a sleepover and hosted 8 sweet and polite girls from her new school and basketball team. They were so good! They went to bed by 11 and slept in until 8. The amazing part was that they all fit into her bedroom!
I made a scavenger hunt for them which they had to use cardinal directions and work together to find the next clue...what fun! I really like hosting parties for kids. They are so much fun! Hope you like the pictures! Don't you wish you were 9 again?
