Well, what do you know? It's Tuesday here. Sunny. Chilly. Beautiful winter day. Grant is back at school (finally) and Jenna will return tomorrow. I think we're all back to normal-somewhat-health wise and that's something to be grateful for! Today I ordered flowers for my incredible mom as tomorrow is her 62nd birthday. After her cancer this past summer, it has made all of the Gale family realize just how important celebrating life and birthdays truly are! Mom, if you're reading this, you should be getting a beautiful arrangement tomorrow. I know roses are your favorite! I sure do love you and these past 2 weeks have made me super appreciative of all the times you put everything aside to ensure we would get better. As hard as it is when your kids are sick, your heart goes out to them and as a mom you pray that their health is restored quickly.

I just reserved our room for Mari Claire & J.T.'s wedding in November. We're staying at a hotel that is oceanfront! We'll be taking a long weekend with the kids to watch our friends take the plunge and celebrate with Vince & DeLynn as their third daughter walks down the isle. We've been to all the Corica weddings and they all have been amazing...this one will be too! If you know anyone getting married, have them check out their wed site, yes I typed wed on purpose! http://www.mcandjt.com/
They are two beautiful people who are extremely creative and artistic. We love JT because he's a Hoosier (like me) and his hometown is where my parents went to college and their friends still live. Small world! It will be a wonderful family trip filled with memories for a lifetime. The drive is only 11 hours! Imagine that! This fall va-ca will be so much FUN!
I was talking with a friend yesterday and she asked how life was now that I'm done with my Master's. I told her that I have been trying to make up the time with the kids. I'm getting caught up on organizing and cleaning the house. I also have a new obsession...okay, the computer time is still at a all time high due to trying to learn the "blog" world. My new obsession is puzzles! I am hosting an enrichment session at school where kids come and we get into groups and attempt to complete puzzles while listening to smooth & calming music. (Yes, middle school kids do like other genres; not just Rap and Hip-Hop!) What is it about puzzles that make them so darn addicting? Is it that they are relaxing? Do at your own pace? Use your mind in a non-stressful deadline way? I am quite a people person; however, I really enjoy quiet moments when I can figure out something tricky that doesn't get me frustrated! What about you? Do you enjoy puzzles?
